Tulum is part of the tourist corridor of the Riviera Maya, located in the State of Quintana Roo. It occupies a strategic position within the strip of medium deciduous jungle formed between the Caribbean Sea and the plain of the Yucatan Peninsula. Ancient Maya settlements defined their locations based on a series of natural, astronomical, and strategic factors that contribute to this internationally recognized destination. This innovative project aims to provide all the spaces and amenities for residents to live in equilibrium with nature. The community has been designed with world-class talent. The project recaptures the essence of a village, using a layout of random volumes intended to create pathways and invite discovery of architecture surrounded by jungle. Through a play of terraces, vegetation climbs to all levels, allowing the jungle to become part of the complex and forming a link between the natural and the built environment. Local architectural materials are used to generate the spatial essence of living in the jungle. Amenities on the ground floor include an urban plaza, motor lobby, concierge, a 115 square meter pool with a sunbathing area, a 100 square meter pool with a sunbathing area, and a lounge terrace. On the first level, there is a 95 square meter lounge room and an open kitchen with a 120 square meter living area. The second level features a 176 square meter terrace, a 60 square meter pool, and three lounge rooms.
